(Lawrenceville, GA) – Recently, the Georgia Center for Opportunity – an organization committed to expanding education options for parents and students – released their annual Legislator Report Card. Legislator’s scores were based on four votes during the 2017 Legislative Session that would have expanded or enhanced education options for students. Senator P.K. Martin earned an ‘A’ rating.


“During my time in public office, I have worked tirelessly to enhance educational outcomes by empowering parents, enhancing choice, and ensuring local control,” said Sen. Martin. “Like The Georgia Center for Opportunity, I believe that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and thrive. Now, more than ever, we must fight together at the State Capitol and in communities around our state to provide access to high quality education for Georgia students regardless of zip code, income, or status.”
